Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has had enough of your questions about star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who will miss this weekend’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs after testing positive for COVID-19.
LaFleur was facing the media on Friday afternoon when he began receiving questions about Rodgers’ interview on The Pat McAfee Show. During the interview, Rodgers attempted to explain why he has not received the COVID vaccine. Among Rodgers’ reasons is an apparent allergy to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccine, a consultation with podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan, and a fear that the vaccine would make him sterile when he plans to start a family in the future.
When asked about the interview, LaFleur was visibly annoyed and frustrated with the line of questioning.
#Packers HC Matt LaFleur had no interest in talking about the Aaron Rodgers interview:
On Rodgers taking Ivermectin: “I don’t even know what that word or term is.”
Will he listen to the Rodgers' interview: "Most likely, no." (wait for the eyeroll)pic.twitter.com/QwMO5RtVmH

“Then don’t ask it, Lance,” LaFleur said at one point. “Ask something about the Kansas City Chiefs or our football team. I’m not going to answer anything else.”
It is very understandable that LaFleur is frustrated with the distraction while he’s trying to prepare his team for an important game. To make things more difficult for the Packers, they also have to prepare quarterback Jordan Love, who unexpectedly gets thrust into the starting role. We will see on Sunday whether he is up for the job.
Kickoff between the Packers and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
