Last week proved that matchups on paper don’t always play out the way you think they might. Many expected a lousy week, but it turned into some exciting football. Week 9 provides us with good matchups on paper. We have entered chili weather season. That means eating unhealthy amounts of delicious food and sitting on the couch watching football. Here is the perfect Week 9 viewing schedule.

A massive game with playoff implications will take place in East Lansing this weekend. The Wolverines and Spartans will lock up in a brother v. brother matchup that neither side will want to lose. There’s not a better way to kick off Week 9 than watching a battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy.
#1 Georgia vs. Florida, 3:30 p.m. EST, CBS

Another rivalry game will be on tap this weekend when the Gators meet the Bulldogs for bragging right. This season, Georgia has steamrolled everyone in their path, while Florida hasn’t been the same Flordia that fans are used to. This game has all the makings of another dominant performance by Georgia, but something about it has a special feeling.
#20 Penn State vs. #5 Ohio St., 7:30 p.m. EST, ABC

Hopefully, by the time this one kicks off, James Franklin will realize that his team will be playing the Buckeyes. With rumors swirling that Franklin could be heading out for greener pastures in Southern California, the Nittany Lions will have a huge road test in Columbus. Ohio St. is salivating at the opportunity to get back in playoff contention, and a win here will do that.
Fresno St. vs. #21 San Diego St., 10:30 p.m. EST, CBSSN

Pac-12 after dark will not be the nightcap for Week 9. Instead, the Mountain West will be the perfect way to end your college football Saturday. The San Diego State Aztecs are undefeated and looking to prove they are a legit threat to anyone standing in their way. The Aztecs will have a formidable opponent in Fresno State that will give them everything they want and more.
