Creating The Perfect Viewing Schedule For College Football Week 2

Week 2 of the college football season is here. Last week gave fans a few great matchups and epic stories like McKenzie Milton almost leading Florida State to a comeback victory over Notre Dame.

This week has many great matchups, from noon until midnight for an action-packed day across the country.

Here is the perfect list of games for every fan’s viewing pleasure.


#12 Oregon vs. #3 Ohio State, Noon, Fox

Week 2 is kicking off in a big way Saturday at noon. A battle of top 15 teams will take place in Columbus as the Oregon Ducks come to town to take on the Buckeyes of Ohio State. Both teams are coming off Week 1 victories and looking to prove they belong in the College Football Playoff conversation.

A big matchup to get your Saturday started.


#10 Iowa vs. #9 Iowa State, 4:30 p.m., ABC

A huge top 10 rivalry game will take place between the Hawkeyes and the Cyclones. Iowa is coming off a convincing win over Indiana in Week 1, while Iowa State survived an ugly showing over Northern Iowa.

The Cyclones no longer want to be in the shadows of big brother Iowa. Iowa currently owns the series record at 45-22.

Iowa State has been looking for their first victory in the series since 2014.


#15 Texas vs. Arkansas, 7:00 p.m., ESPN

Former conference foes that will soon be conference foes once again square off in a rivalry game that needs to be resurrected. This will be the 79th time in history that these two programs will battle on the gridiron.

Texas has a lopsided lead in the rivalry holding a 56-22 record. However, Arkansas has taken home three victories in the last five meetings, including their last matchup in 2014.


#21 Utah vs. BYU, 10:15 p.m., ESPN

The Holy War has returned once again. Finish off your Saturday of college football with the battle of Utah when the Utes matchup with the Cougars. There really hasn’t been anything holy about Utah and their dominance of BYU in this rivalry. Utah leads the overall series 62-34-4, and the Utes have won the last nine matchups.

Both teams are coming off Week One victories and want to set the tone for the rest of the season with a victory against a hated rival.

This is the perfect schedule for any college football fan as we head into Week Two of the season. Heated rivalries stand out this week, as well as a top 15 matchup that will have the winner thinking playoffs. Order your wings early, have your seat in the perfect position, and don’t expect to get up except for bathroom breaks. College football is here, and it’s time to celebrate accordingly.
