The college football season is just around the corner and the FCS will be returning to action this fall after playing in the spring due to the coronavirus-delayed season just months ago. In anticipation of the new season, we get a look at how each team will stack up against the competition.
On Monday, the preseason AFCA Coaches Poll was announced with defending national champion Sam Houston State sitting atop the rankings with 18 first-place votes. The Bearkats won the national championship over South Dakota State, 23-21, just three months ago.
Rounding out the top five is James Madison, North Dakota State, South Dakota State, and Delaware.
