The Deshaun Watson trade talks are reportedly “heating up” since the star quarterback reported to Houston Texans training camp and the team began fielding calls.

According to reports, the Philadelphia Eagles appear to be the frontrunners and the most actively engaged in trade conversations.

“Talks are heating up between Eagles and Texans on a Deshaun Watson trade,” Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports said. “Still some hurdles to get over. But both sides attempting to come to an agreement.”

Watson has yet to take the field during training camp despite being in attendance, and some believe it could be to protect the quarterback from any injury or anything that could drop his value.

Of course, going after Watson via a trade comes with risks.

Watson is facing 22 civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. The 25-year-old All-Pro signal-caller, however, has adamantly denied the allegations against him.
