The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reported for training camp, but on Monday morning the team had a little bit of a break.
American track star Anna Crockwell, the sister of defensive back Ross Crockwell, was competing in the semifinals of the 400m hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics. For the big race, Crockwell was joined by his teammates and coaches in the film room to take everything in.
When it was all said and done, Anna Crockwell was able to punch her ticket to the finals with an impressive showing and the Buccaneers went wild. Crockwell finished in second place behind Femke Bol of the Netherlands to punch her ticket in the final.
The Bucs had cameras in the room to document the entire moment and it’s as incredible as it sounds.
And the incredible day for the Crockwell’s wasn’t over just yet, because Ross went on to have himself an incredible day at practice.
So on the morning his sister qualified for the Olympic finals in the 400m hurdles, CB Ross Cockrell had not one not two but three interceptions in practice.
His third was on the very last play of the day 🤯
