Trae Young To Undergo MRI; Hopes To Play In Game 4

Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young suffered a fluke injury during Game 3 against the Milwaukee Bucks which changed the momentum of the game and ultimately gave the Bucks the boost they needed to surge past the Hawks for a series lead.

Young was near the sideline when he took a step back and rolled his ankle after stepping on a ref’s foot.

The Hawks sharpshooter went to the locker room after the injury and was not the same once he returned to the court. That left many wondering what the rest of the series holds for the injured Young.

Young will undergo an MRI on Monday morning, and the plan is that he will play in Game 4.

With the hope of playing in Game 4 as the goal, Young said that he will undergo “as much treatment as I can” to get himself back onto the court as healthy as possible.

If Young is not healthy enough to go for the Hawks in Game 4, it would be a devastating blow to their chances of continuing their magical run through the postseason.

So for now, Hawks fans have to hope that there are good results from the MRI and that the treatment is successful.
