One of the biggest storylines of the NFL offseason popped up prior to the 2021 NFL Draft when it was reported that Aaron Rodgers was ready to move on from the Green Bay Packers.
The team is adamant it has no plans to trade him, which has left Rodgers’ NFL future in limbo.
Many believe Rodgers could take a hard stance and follow through on his threat to stay away from the team, but Peyton Manning (who knows a thing or two about changing teams late in his career) hopes the two sides can work everything out.
Manning shared his thoughts on the saga while speaking to TMZ Sports.
“When I think of Aaron, I think of him as a Green Bay Packer,” Manning said. “Hopefully they can get it worked out.
“He’s done such a great job there in Green Bay.”
We will have to see whether the two sides can ultimately work out their issues, but they are quickly running out of time as offseason workouts are set to begin around the league.
