Trevor Lawrence is a newly married man. The expected No. 1 overall pick was married over the weekend and he received one gift from a special group of people: Jacksonville Jaguars fans.

Lawrence may not be the team’s quarterback for another few weeks, but the Jags faithful are excited to welcome him to Duval.

As a welcoming and wedding gift, Jags fans came together to buy Lawrence a heavy-duty toaster that was listed on his wedding registry, according to Sports Illustrated.

Eric Dillard initially started the entire thing as a joke and it ended up working out with thousands of dollars pouring in.

Dillard is using the money raised to buy a $300 toaster, a vacuum, and the rest will be donated to charity after polling fans on where they wanted the money to go.

“When I first posted it, it was a joke but I absolutely thought we’d get the $300…I’ve helped kick-start a few crowd funding type events this year with a book drive in January and donating to help restore the old Stanton Building in downtown Jacksonville in February so getting the $300 always seemed realistic,” Dillard said.

“Friday was really a great day on Twitter. Sense of community was at an all-time high. But like I said earlier, for as exciting and incredible as it is – when you step back it’s not surprising. This community loves to give. Add in the Jaguars and things will always get weird.”

Welcome to Jacksonville, Trevor.

The 86th annual NFL Draft will be held across three days from April 29 to May 1.

This year’s draft will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, incorporating FirstEnergy Stadium, the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, and the Great Lakes Science Center.
