LeBron James ‘Out Indefinitely’ After Suffering Right Ankle Injury

LeBron James suffered a right ankle injury during the second quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday afternoon and was unable to return.

Now, updates are coming in, and they are not good.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Los Angeles Lakers star has been diagnosed with a right ankle sprain.

As a result, the leading MVP candidate will be out indefinitely.

Saying it is a tough loss for the Lakers would be an understatement, especially with star big man Anthony Davis already sidelined with an injury of his own.

James, who is the odds-on favorite to win the NBA MVP award, is averaging 25.8 points, 8 assists, and 8.1 rebounds. The Lakers star has only missed one full game this season.

That is all the information that is available at this time. This article will be updated with new and relevant information should it become available at any time. If there is anything that we missed, please feel free to send an email to [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible.
