Well, we hope everyone is ready for this daily dose of “WTF is going on in sports?”
Because mixed martial arts can never seem to get out of its way in regards to freak show fights, Russia decided to put Women’s MMA fighter Darina Mazdyuk, who is 3-1, against a 530-pound YouTuber named Grigory Chistyakov.
Mazdyuk weighs just 135-pounds.
But as we have come to learn, you need a lot more than size when you’re facing off against a professional fighter so it is no surprise that Mazdyuk needed just 90-seconds to embarrass Chistyakov in the cage.

Wasn't sure about posting this, but decided I'd be failing you all if I didn't

UFC referee Marc Goddard was not too fond of the spectacle.
“This is what we are dealing with – in 2020,” Goddard said, via the New York Post.
“This is what we are fighting against as the parallels and negative connotations are continually drawn. To outsiders and detractors, this is MMA. Shameful. Sickening. Abysmal.”
