What a seven day or so period it has been for mascots west of the Mississippi. First we had the Colorado mascot blasting himself with a t-shirt cannon and now comes news that the BYU mascot lost its head via a trampoline incident on Saturday during a 30-3 win over McNeese State.
Cosmo Cougar has yet to release a Twitter statement about the head incident that likely has the sober Mormons, who thought mascots were actual animals, highly shook. Makes you wonder if BYU is trying to steal some of the thunder from Colorado’s mascot.
Seems kinda suspect that Cosmo can go snowboarding and not lose his head, but a simple trampoline incident results in his head coming off.
