Josh Hader Got The Business From Giants Fans After His Standing O In Milwaukee

In the aftermath of Josh Hader’s problematic tweets when he was a dumbass teenager that surfaced during the All-Star game, Milwaukee fans gave the closer a standing ovation of support in his first appearance after he got dragged online (deservedly so) for a good 48 hours. Of course, people had issues with the Brewers fans afterward because the visual of cheering a guy who tweeted some terrible shit – teenager or not – isn’t the greatest look.
So last night Giants fans evened things out a little bit. I know everything is two-sided nowadays, so for the people who were mad online about Hader getting cheered in his first appearance since the tweets surfaced, well here you go. He got what was coming. And for the people on the other side who fired back saying they were just supporting Josh and letting him know the fans had his back, well he finally got the boos he probably deserved in the first place. Everybody wins here.

Or, maybe because he’s an opponent who’s coming in to close out a game on the road, that’s why he got booed? It’s not like I’d be expecting Giants fans to cheer when he jogs out the to mound in the 9th. Maybe we’re all reading into stuff a little bit too much?
