Turning to another drug to get over an existing substance abuse issue doesn’t sound like the best idea, but that’s apparently what former NBAer Lamar Odom did to beat crack.
According to The Blast, LO “discovered certain strains that support wellness” while recovering from his addition, and now he’s getting in the marijuana game with a line called Rich Soil Organics to offer products to people in need.
From the report:
“Friends, associates, and ex-teammates asked me what solutions I was using on my road back to recovery, and that’s when Rich Soil Organics was born,” Odom says, and adds “It’s a perfect time to offer these Cannabis solutions to the public who may be going through similar body issues as I am.”
Rich Soil Organics touts that they will cultivate “organically grown, pesticide-free cannabis,” and plan to roll out a line of products including flowers, concentrates, extracts and other CBD/THC infusions.
Good for LO. Marijuana is booming in California and obviously anything is better than being hooked on crack.
Odom is the latest athlete to get in the weed biz, joining the likes of Ricky Williams (who recently announced his own brand), Brad Miller, and Al Harrington.
