By now most of you guys know Penn State running back Saquon Barkley showed out at the NFL Scouting Combine. 29 reps at the bench press, 4.40 40-yard dash, a 41-inch vertical, yadda yadda yadda — the Browns might as well kill all speculation and submit their draft card for the guy NFL.com compares to Barry Sanders right now.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported last week Barkley is “firmly in the mix” to go number one, and it appears the oddsmakers at Bovada agree, as they listed him the favorite above quarterbacks Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Josh Rosen:

Suffice it to say that the hype surrounding Barkley is immense right now. Hell, former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel even chimed in to call him the “undisputed No. 1 pick” in an Instagram post Monday night.

Barkley training with New Johnny probably isn’t what the Dawg Pound wants to see, but Bovada clearly isn’t worried about that.
