76-Year-Old Robert Kraft Will Not Be Having A Baby With His 38-Year-Old Girlfriend, Despite Rumors

Last night, Page Six dropped a juicy report with speculation that Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who is sitting at age 76 these days, knocked up his 38-year-old on again, off again girlfriend, Ricki Lander. According to their sources, Lander secretly had a baby last year during the football season and there was speculation that Kraft was actually the father.
Immediately, the internet went nuts with the jokes. They were almost too easy.

But as it turns out, he is not some sort of genetic freak who can still plant a baby inside someone deep into his 70’s. He did not try some new TB12 Method that somehow generates the seeds of a man in his prime, although I expect that to be in Brady’s 2nd book.
A Patriots spokesman released a statement this morning confirming that Kraft was not the biological father.
Boston Globe:

Patriots owner Robert Kraft is not the father of his on-again, off-again girlfriend’s baby, who was born in the fall of 2017, a spokesperson for the team said early Thursday morning.
Speculation that the 76-year-old team owner could be the father began after a New York Post story revealed on Wednesday that Ricki Noel Lander gave birth to a baby at some point in 2017. The tabloid said multiple sources had confirmed the birth.
“Last fall, Ricki Noel Lander became the proud mother of a beautiful, healthy baby,” the Patriots spokesperson wrote in an email early Thursday. “While Robert Kraft is not the biological father, he is thrilled with Ricki’s blessing of having a healthy child. With respect to her family’s privacy, we will not be commenting any further.”

According to Page Six, Kraft isn’t planning on sending Lander off on her own even though he isn’t the baby daddy. He still plans on providing for the kid and I think he’s got a few bucks to spare.

One of the sources said, “Bob is fully supporting the child. There is a lot of tiptoeing around the subject at the Patriots offices. Everyone is afraid to openly talk about it.” The source added that Kraft’s four sons are anticipating that the Kraft family trust could be changed to provide for the child. In 2013, the sons asked to modify the three-decades-old family trust to give them more control over assets.
