Johnny Manziel Tweets That He’s Willing to Play For Free

It appears the Johnny Manziel comeback story has hit the desperation stage, as he took to Twitter to announce that he would “play again for FREE.” Not something you’d expect to read from someone nicknamed “Money,” but here we are.

Obviously this is surprising given talks of him joining the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats reportedly stalled over salary, but NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports he’s been in touch with NFL coaches (per Manziel’s camp) and would both play for a free, and on a practice squad:

This, of course, is the second big Johnny story of the day — the first being his appearance on Uninterrupted’s “The ThomaHawk Show” in which he discussed the story of his infamous Billy Manziel alter ego.
