A few hours after Rick Pitino finished spouting off his never-ending stream of B.S. at the Louisville press conference yesterday afternoon where he said he’s totally innocent and has “run a clean program” (LOLOLOL), his former team went into the Cameron Indoor Stadium and got their doors blown off by Duke. It was just another L to add the collection that UL has accumulated this week.
It was a national TV game and given the circumstances, the Cameron Crazies came prepared with an arsenal of material to throw out to the Cardinals players throughout the game via this cheer sheet that was handed out in the student section. Now normally, I’m firmly of the belief that cheer sheets equal poor organization and tradition from a student section. But the depth of this one from Duke is impressive, I can’t lie.

Only one problem: I see zero FBI/NCAA investigation chants on this thing. It says it’s because Coach K asked them to avoid the topic, but sometimes to have to disobey his wishes. If you’re going to go through the effort of digging up dirt on every single player in the program, you can’t ignore the massive elephant in the room and easiest target out there. You have to go all-in on that, especially the same day that Pitino lied his ass off to a bunch of journalists.
I, like most, hate Duke, but I also have gained respect for their student section over the years. They can be VICIOUS. So I respect the in-depth nature of this cheer sheet when we’ve seen some really lame ones over the years, but you HAVE to go for the jugular when the perfect opportunity presents itself like this.
