French skier Kevin Rolland mentioned on Instagram that he entered PyeongChang with some pain in his left shoulder — he’ll likely be leaving with additional ailments to his groin and/or leg after a truly horrifying spill during the mens’ freestyle ski halfpipe final.
As you can see below, Rolland, who won bronze in the 2014 Winter Olympics, reminded the world that people competing in this event are insane as he landed hard on the lip of the halfpipe before suffering an additional crash on the way down:

We assumed Rolland shredded everything in his body, but apparently he skied off like a soldier:
