Just talked to these guys, they're putting motor oil on the poles now. 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/RmpwXgql0H

I don’t want to jump the gun, but I think this finally might be the last story I do on a light pole. The Patriots will easily cover that -4.5 spread and there will be no attempts to top poles like they’re mini Everests… OR the Eagles will pull of the upset and the gear oil Philadelphia police is busy applying will be tested.
Of course, we told you guys Philly police was swapping Crisco grease for motor oil earlier this week. Commissioner Richard Ross said Eagles fans would find the task of besting gear oil “far more difficult.”

Good news! The oil is apparently degradable:
They’re not lubing the light poles with motor oil. It’s biodegradable hydraulic oil. I mean, we are animals but we still love #MotherEarth. #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/d5ohN2QRkY

Check back later to see if Eagles fans take on the challenge after the big game.
