Ernie Johnson ate like a king last night on Inside The NBA after Charles Barkley was forced to pay up for their bet on the Rose Bowl. Chuck being an Auburn guy and still shook from their loss in the SEC Championship to the Dawgs, showed up on set last week rocking an Oklahoma jersey and made a gentleman’s bet with Ernie (a Georgia grad) on the game.
Last night, he honored the bet of a “nice steak dinner” by dropping a cool 12 grand on the bill that featured a little bit more than a prime cut of steak and a glass of wine.

Ernie’s laugh after hearing Chuck say “Wait, it’s $12,000” is the most genuine laugh you’ll ever hear.

Chuck’s rich, he’ll be fine. But imagine signing a bill like that just takes a piece out of you.
Some NFL rookies have dealt with worse.
College GameDay’s Maria Taylor (another Georgia grad) also stopped by with a bulldog puppy just cut a little bit deeper
