Vilnius Airport probably experienced their first ever media scrum today with the arrival of noted NBA founder LaVar Ball, and his much-hyped sons, LaMelo and LiAngelo. For real, ESPN sent Jeff Goodman over to Lithuania to take in the show, and it sounds like it didn’t disappoint with media falling over for BBB:
That was an insane scene when LaVar came through the doors. Photographers equipment spilled to the ground, media members falling down. One media person asked me if it was LeBron or Michael Jordan coming? I just laughed.

Goodman wasn’t exaggerating at all judging from this video of crazed media hounding LaVar:

That music you heard in the video apparently wasn’t coming from a speaker system — there was a guitarist on hand to welcome Lithuania’s newest ballers:

As for the actual basketball side of this, LaMelo and LiAngelo are scheduled to debut for Prienu Vytautas on Jan. 9. There should be plenty footage of bad three-point attempts and no defense coming in the near future.
