Anthony Davis Fractured Ron Baker’s Face With That Savage Dunk

Ron Baker did the noble, gritty white guy thing this past Saturday when he tried to defend an Anthony Davis dunk attempt. Ron, of course, failed miserably and was elbowed in the face during the posterization — he made light of his murder on Instagram, and even tagged AD in the post. Such a nice guy.

I still can't get over the fact Anthony Davis literally BROKE RON BAKER'S FACE on a dunk

But it appears Ron suffered more than just a black eye during that play, as Knicks PR tweets the guard is out for tonight’s game against the Spurs with an orbital fracture. Masked Ron will soon be making an appearance at MSG:

Ron Baker sustained a left orbital fracture in Saturday’s game at New Orleans. He is out for tonight’s game against San Antonio and is being fitted for a face mask. He is day-to-day.

Sidenote: AD definitely committed a foul on that play, but the dunker always gets the call. Blake Griffin knows about that life, he extends his off arm almost every time he dunks.

Ron’s black eye seems to be healing well, at least:
