The old home of the Detroit Lions, the Pontiac Silverdome, was scheduled to be blown up for good on Sunday, but the stadium refused to go down without a fight and withstood a flurry of bombs.
The demolition company Adamo claims faulty wiring was to blame for the failed attempt, but they righted their wrongs today and finally put the Silverdome to sleep. For real. Everyone was able to witness a proper explosion:
