Donald Trump Tweets That He Should Have Left UCLA Basketball Shoplifters in Jail

If you thought Donald Trump was a lock to be the next member of Big Baller Brand after getting LiAngelo out of China, think again. POTUS and LaVar Ball appear to be headed towards a full-on beef, as Trump took to Twitter on this fine Sunday morning to call out LaVar for being ungrateful:

Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

Update: Potus really isn’t about that Big Baller life.

Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!

Yeah… it looks like there will be no free ZO2s for the Trumps this Christmas.

This Twitter outburst, of course, isn’t too shocking after LaVar gave the president zero credit for freeing the disgraced UCLA basketball (LiAngelo, Cody Riley, Jalen Hill) shoplifters. He told ESPN the following this past Friday:

“Who?” LaVar Ball told ESPN on Friday, when asked about Trump’s involvement in the matter. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”

Apparently LiAngelo thanking Trump during his presser wasn’t enough:

LiAngelo Ball thanks Donald Trump
