Look at Nick Saban all chipper at his press conference last night. Yeah, he went on an ultra old man rant about all these kids and their ripped jeans and how back in his day ripped jeans basically meant you were poor, but how about Satan himself with a little chuckle?
This has to be the first presser this season that Saban has laughed at, right? He might’ve mixed in a smile or two here or there, but when he starts laughing at the lectern, it’s a sight to behold.
Even more surprising is that this is coming off a Saturday where they barely squeaked out a win at Mississippi State. These are usually the times when Saban takes his anger out on some young reporter by ripping their stupid questions to shreds. But then I looked at the schedule and it all makes sense:
