Another potential Browns quarterback savior came off the board last night, and Browns coaches are reportedly none too pleased about it.
Of course, the quarterback we’re talking about this time around is Tom Brady protege Jimmy Garoppolo, who was sent to the 49ers for just a second-round pick. The Browns and Jimmy G have been linked together since last year’s Super Bowl/NFL Draft, but nothing came of it and the Eastern Illinois product is now headed west.
If the relatively low asking price stuns all you Browns fans out there, you’re not alone. According to AM1340/104.7 FM Denver’s Benjamin Allbright, the coaching staff wanted Jimmy G and voiced their displeasure to the front office after the deal went down:

Does it get any more Browns than front office members leaving at 5 p.m. (like they work typical 9-5 jobs) the night before the trade deadline? But hey, at least the team has two first rounders and three second rounders in the 2018 draft. Surely they won’t mess up again…
Hue Jackson’s daughter, Baylee, also got in on torching the FO:
