It’s been another rough Sunday for the Browns (I guess we really could say that every Sunday) and it just got worse. Not because the QB carousel is back on with Deshone Kizer getting benched again (this time for Cody Kessler), but because their ironman and 2nd best player in franchise history, Joe Thomas, just missed the first snap of his career.
That’s 11 years without missing a down. Over 10,000 snaps. Here’s how he got injured:
This is the play that ended #Browns @joethomas73 10,363 consecutive snaps streak since getting drafted in 2007 pic.twitter.com/7ptgUojo1Q

Just check out these numbers, they’re absolutely insane
#Browns Joe Thomas played 10,363 consecutive snaps before getting hurt

And the incredible streak of Joe Thomas never missing a snap ends at 10,363 plays over 11 years

Browns about to run their first offensive play without Joe Thomas since the end of the 2006 season.

It was the one good thing the Browns had left and the football gods just ripped it away from them.
