Remember when all the Bears fan flipped out on draft night when they traded up for Trubisky? Or when they booed him that weekend at a Bulls playoff game? Have the Bears fans taken these couple of months to cool off and talk themselves into their new franchise quarterback?
Well, they might want to hold off on that for juuuuuust a little bit. Your boy Mitchell had his first practice open to the public today and immediately fumbled 3 snaps out of the gate.
Five plays for Mitch Trubisky in team drills, three fumbled exchanges.

Mitch Trubisky's first two reps in team drills at the first padded practice: two fumbled center-QB exchanges from under center. #Bears

Not the hottest start from the #2 overall pick. I think I remember hearing somewhere that being able to take a snap is important. For now, we’ll just blame it on the college system.
Or the offensive line, that always works.
On Trubisky snap trouble, John Fox notes that it was 2 diff centers snapping to him. First day of pads, they're anxious to snap quickly.
