Probably the biggest surprise of the draft came very early in the night yesterday when the Bears traded up one spot, from #3 to #2, to snag QB Mitchell Trubisky. Every draft “expert” on the planet had Chicago going with a defensive player there, but instead they went the total opposite way by drafting a QB project.
Naturally, this stunned Bear fans who fully expected to go home Thursday night with a guy like Soloman Thomas or maybe Jonathan Allen. The reaction videos did not disappoint, solely because of the sheer shock these fans had. Nobody was ready for that pick.

Overall, it was a wild first round, Chicago has their QB of the future and surely Bears fans are going to welcome him with open arms.
