Lavar Ball Fires Back at Charles Barkley

No one likes to hate on the Golden State Warriors more than Charles Barkley, but even he had to back Stephen Curry when Sporting News asked him about crazy Lavar Ball:

“Just because you say some s—, doesn’t make it right,” Barkley said. “He’s gonna be better than Steph Curry? That’s what he said. Steph Curry has won a couple MVPs, he’s pretty good. Man, let me tell you something. That’s that AAU s—. You can’t say a guy is going to be better than Steph Curry, a guy who has played 30 college games. I know you can be proud of your son, but at some point, it becomes stupidity.”

True to form, it didn’t take long for someone — in this case FS1’s Colin Cowherd — to shove a mic in Lavar’s face to get a response:
Ah yes, the championship burn on Barkley… very original. Somewhere Shaq is laughing.
Oh, and Colin Cowherd’s show wasn’t the only media appearance Lonzo’s hype man made today. He also visited “Undisputed” to let everyone know he thinks his kid is better than Steph (again):
