On Monday, Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis played it cool while talking to the media about the ankle he sprained while celebrating the ALCS pennant. Pretty much all the reports say that he’ll be good to go tonight for Game 1 against the Cubs, but it’s probably worth pointing out his left ankle is swollen to epic proportions.
Heidi Watney of MLB Network apparently tweeted out the photo below before deleting it. Luckily one of our readers saved it:

In case you were wondering, Kipnis suffered the injury while celebrating with Francisco Lindor.
So as we enter Game 1, the Cubs are dealing with a curse while the Tribe navigates drone and freak celebratory injuries. Fun stuff.
