The Cleveland Indians haven’t been to the World Series since 1997, so being a key cog of the team obviously has its perks around the city.
Jason Kipnis has already discovered that firsthand, as his latest trip to Chipotle ended up being free of charge. It sure sounds like he wanted to pay, but when you’re close to getting The Land their second title in a year you’re basically a god:
"I went to Chipotle, and the guys were like, 'No, you're not paying.'"–Jason Kipnis

Extra guac for life if Kip and The Tribe are able to pull this off.
As for Kipnis’ injured ankle, which he sprained while celebrating (so Cleveland), he says it’ll be good to go by tomorrow.
Jason Kipnis on MLB Network radio "I just sprained the shit out of my ankle jumping up and down." 😬

To keep track, we’ve got drone and celebratory injuries handicapping the Indians. Just bubblewrap everyone.
