By now you guys know we have a fascination with Tommy Lasorda and Tommy Lasorda doing things like eating and being ordinary. There’s nothing like Tommy stopping into a BWW and telling the waitresses old stories. I’m constantly surprised how Tommy can eat and drink (see the BWW post) beer at his age and he’s still kicking.
Tomorrow, September 22, Tommy celebrates his 89th birthday and it appears he’s going to get one helluva nice cake to celebrate the big day. We know Tommy loves cake and still eats it — see below — so it should be a blowout birthday party thanks to this masterpiece.
