Suffice it to say, hump day was not kind to Browns wide receivers… at all.
The day started with Josh Gordon getting hit with an arrest warrant in a paternity case — and apparently ended with star rookie Corey Coleman breaking his hand in practice.
Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot says the injured occurred after Coleman made a catch:
He was injured when he caught a pass and someone came down on the hand. Practice is only open to the media for the first 20 minutes and it happened after that.
It’s not yet known which hand was injured or its severity. The Browns declined to confirm the report. He underwent X-rays after practice, which confirmed the break.
In case you needed a rundown of all the Browns’ injuries suffered through two weeks of play, here you go:
#Browns injuries: RGIII (IR), Josh McCown (shoulder), Cameron Erving (lung bruise), Corey Coleman (broken hand), Carl Nassib (same). Ouch.
