Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones Says "No Chance" When Asked If He Would Sign Johnny Manziel

I want it, Johnny wants it, Jerry Jones definitely wants it, but it looks like his son is going to be the biggest buzzkill in the NFL. Just two weeks ago Johnny was caught coming out of a club by TMZ cameras and said he wanted to make his comeback with the Cowboys. Now Stephen Jones, the CEO of the Cowboys is saying “no chance” they consider him.

He went on Tiki and Tierney from CBS Sports Radio this morning and addressed Johnny by basically saying there’s no way the Cowboys sign him.

Do I believe him? Yes, for this season. But if you think the Cowboys aren’t going to take a hard look at Johnny next off-season, you’re crazy. Stephen Jones can say all he wants, but his daddy still runs things and his daddy loves Johnny. And you know what else Jerry Jones loves? A media circus, and that’s exactly what Johnny will bring next year.
So, he can say this now, but let’s hear what he says a year from now.
