Former Bash Bro Jose Canseco may be 53, but that man still needs his baseball bats. He participates in home run derbies from time to time, and most recently, signed on to play with the Pittsburg Diamonds (an independent team).

However, Canseco momentarily lost possession of his precious bats Wednesday morning when two thieves broke into his car and stole his lumber:
Just 40 min ago at 430 am cops knock on my room door in Pittsburgh California. 2 guys broke into my suv and stole my bats.i still got it lol

The Mercury News has additional details:
Canseco, currently playing the rest of the season for the independent league Pittsburg Diamonds, was at the Hampton Inn at 1201 California Ave. when police were called there by the hotel manager around 3:30 a.m. They notified Canseco, who identified his property.
Both men had outstanding warrants, police said.
Jose made sure to give his saviors credit and had them pose with the bats:
Officer Manly Williams and officer Gerald Lombardy are the guys who rescued my bats..thank you very much. pic.twitter.com/WpjxnBVWDd
