Before baseball season started, we gathered up the latest overpriced food concoctions that MLB stadiums would be serving fans in our annual “Best MLB Foods” post — one of those items was PNC Park’s Cracker Jack and Mac dog.

You can take one look at that monstrosity above and know exactly what it’s all about, but in case you needed a proper food description, here you go (via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette):
Meant to marry two of baseball’s favorite eats — hot dogs and Cracker Jack — the naan-wrapped treat features a foot-long all-beef hot dog topped with macaroni and cheese, salted caramel sauce, deep-fried pickled jalapenos and a side of the iconic caramel-covered popcorn.
“It’s sweet and savory, with a bit of spice to it — a fantastic creation,” said Steve Musciano, general manager of Aramark, food provider for the ballpark, when trotting out the dish at a media event Friday. “People eat baked beans on a hot dog, right?”
While taking a break from shading Jonathan Niese today, Mets analyst Ron Darling got a hold of one of these to see what the hype’s all about, and suffice it to say, he was not a fan:

About as critical a take you’ll get when it comes to stadium food, but not everyone felt the same way. Darling’s colleague, Steve Gelbs, was all about it on Twitter:
