With a new MLB season just around the corner, it’s about that time of year when teams start unveiling the overpriced artery-hardening concoctions that fans can chow down on.
Last year, the BC office was absolutely floored by the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Churro Dog and the Texas Rangers’ S’moreo desserts. But this season, it looks like teams have put extra emphasis on redesigning classic staples like the hot dog and nachos.
The Atlanta Braves, in particular, seem dead set on distracting fans from their product on the field with crazy options like: the Burgerizza, “The Everything Dog” (a.k.a. TED), and “The Punisher.” Other notable new entries come via the Rangers (of course), Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, and Houston Astros.
