Remember when Rougned Odor attempted to nail Jose Bautista with a throw as he slid into second base? Yeah, well we actually saw a similar incident play out during Monday night’s Royals-Orioles game.
As you can see below, Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop doinked Cheslor Cuthbert in the elbow as he attempted to turn a double play:

Unlike the Odor-Bautista showdown, Schoop was apparently trying to hold back on his throw, which led to the ball going straight down at Cuthbert.
However, Royals fans don’t need to fret — Cuthbert only suffered an elbow contusion.
