Dan the Intern taking over today
Yeah, I know I’m “the weekend guy”, but since we’re getting closer and closer to summer time the boss is going to be taking some days off to actually enjoy a little bit of nice weather while it lasts up there in Toledo. I’m pretty sure they get like 1.5 months of pool weather before it turns back into an arctic tundra sometime in mid-August. So that means I’ll be filling in every once and a while to get your day started before handing the reigns over the James in the afternoon.
How about the Pro Bowl moving to Orlando?
As if the NFL didn’t already have a problem of guys faking injuries so they didn’t have to play in a glorified two hand touch football game, they go ahead and decide to move it to Orlando. Have you ever been to Orlando? They have Disney World and then literally nothing else. College football players are disappointed when they have to go there for the Russell Athletic Bowl, so do you actually think NFL players are going to make that trip? At least in Hawaii there was some semblance of paradise. Orlando has Mickey Mouse and a couple Hard Rock Cafes.
