It looks like Albert Pujols’ baseball career has officially jumped the shark. He’s batting below the Mendoza Line, has been relegated to part-time first base duty and is powerless to help a sinking Angels squad. Just sad times all around at The Big A.
But hey, the guy is still a future Hall of Famer with $179 million in career earnings (and another $165 million on the way). And if you want to get your hands on some hot Pujols memorabilia, look no further than his 2013 Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
According to the current owner, Albert had it custom ordered to his liking:
Owner 2013 Bentley Continental Flying Spur in Glacier White over a Saffron Leather Main Hide interior with a Dark Bourbon Secondary Hide and an incredibly low 5,538 miles! This one of a kind Flying Spur was originally custom ordered from Bentley St. Louis by baseball great and future hall of famer Albert Pujols. The former St. Louis Cardinal and now Anaheim Angel slugger custom ordered this British piece of art to use as his daily driver when he was not traveling from ballpark to ballpark. #5 is as much of a meticulous car owner as he is a home run machine on the diamond!
There has to be some Cardinals fan out there who must be aching to drive this while tweeting vile things about the Cubs.
