The 2015 Los Angeles Clippers season through 13 games has been an absolute disaster. Sure, “disaster” is an aggressive label with so many games left in the season, but here’s a running list of current problems with the team:
- The logo is terrible (obviously)
- Doc Rivers traded Matt Barnes for a guy he refuses to play (Lance Stephenson)
- DeAndre Jordan is somehow worse at shooting free throws
- It looks like Paul Pierce was acquired a year too late
- Jamal Crawford…
- Pierce and Crawford playing together is the bane of every Clipper fan’s existence
- They’ve picked up right where they left off in terms of blowing massive leads
- Josh Smith is arguing with coaches
Oh, and if the on-court problems weren’t enough, the in-arena experience is totally lacking.
I attended the game against the Grizzlies on Nov. 9 and honestly just could not take my eyes off that eyesore logo on center court. Luckily, I did myself a favor with nosebleeds and couldn’t see the jerseys. And those special on-court games where fans get to shoot for prizes? Total abomination. I seriously watched a dude compete in a game where he had no idea what the rules were. (They gave the guy a trip to New York for his trouble.)
Fortunately, there is a solution to the extracurriculars surrounding the game: pony up for Traci B! We introduced you guys to arena host Traci last season, but she was inexplicably let go for the first year of the new rebrand despite being a former staple of the dance team.
