The Golden State Warriors finally took a loss this season, but luckily for them, it wasn’t on the court.
Per Kron 4, interim head coach Luke Walton had his Mercedes-Benz stolen Tuesday. The carjacking is reportedly just one of a series of crimes that have taken place in the Oakland Hills area.
Oakland Police do have a suspect in custody in 20-year-old Lamonte Campbell — details from the report:
The next day, police saw him driving the car and tried to pull him over, but he sped away, blowing stop signs and driving the wrong way on a two-way street. Eventually he crashed into parked cars in the 2000 block of Poplar Street in West Oakland at about 10:30 a.m. and ran from the scene, but police captured him a short time later, according to court records.
Campbell also allegedly assaulted a 75-year-old woman before taking her car as well.
