I have to say, this heel turn by the Kansas City Royals is just what baseball needed. Sure, their constant brawls don’t do much to help speed up the game, but man do they get everyone talking. April is usually reserved for LeBron, NHL Playoffs, and NFL schedule talk; instead we’re getting analysis on why the Royals keep getting plunked and scuffling with everyone. Easy win for the new commish.
Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer took some time off from over thinking Thursday night to delve into the subject — he may or may not have thrown some shade at Yordano Ventura:
I don't know about y'all but I'm usually happy when I get a ground ball back to mound. 😃

And make some apt ties to the NHL and a certain “big” boxing fight:
Breaking news! Since the @NHL playoffs began there have been more fights on the baseball field than on the ice

I heard @MannyPacquiao and @FloydMayweather are currently breaking down tape of @MLB games in preparation for their big fight coming up

Dare I say it…Blackhawks/predators doing their best royals/whitesox impression

Man, is Royals-Indians the next big thing? It’s not out of the question that Yordano sees that sarcastic ground ball tweet and explode as per usual, right?
