We know the New England Patriots will be missing key players on the field from their 2014 Super Bowl team, but they’ll also be without a piece from their cheerleading squad — Camille Kostek.
She left the following caption on her Instagram page on March 29:
I want to wish all of my teammates and the new young women going out for the squad the best of luck as they announce the new team today ! By far the best two years of my life cheering on the best in the NFL with the best in the NFL@patriotscheerleaders . One of the toughest decisions I’ve had to make but I’m onto my next journey, chasing a new dream. @gillettestadium you will always be my second home and I couldn’t ask for a better final performance than on the sidelines at the Super Bowl! Once an NEPC, always an NEPC.
You have to appreciate that. It’s not often we hear about cheerleaders leaving after their team’s Super Bowl win. If anything, you’d assume that would be more incentive to stick around.
What’s Camille setting her sights on now? Apparently grinding hard in the reporting game:
Fun Facts about Camille:
- Eastern Connecticut State University alum
- Majored in Communications and made the Dean’s List
- Cheerleader since the age of six
- Kostek is literally just starting her journey as a reporter. Her assignment a week ago? A Providence Sky Chiefs game for ESPN:
