Now, before you get all crazy about Bama fan Austin Rhyne painting Roll Tide on an elephant’s trunk, you should know that in some parts of India a painted elephant is considered art. Austin wrote on Instagram: “When in the city of painted elephants… ya gotta leave your mark #RollTide.”
Of course PETA might not like that Austin painted up an elephant. There is an elephant festival in the city of Jaipur where elephants are painted so it seems this practice is accepted in at least one part of India.
Some of you might recognize Austin as the Bama fan who held the “Bama Conda” sign on GameDay for the Iron Bowl. That’s how big of a Bama fan we’re talking about.
