The last time we checked on Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas he was getting his weak stuff swatted by Nerlens Noel. But Jonas wasn’t going to be on the wrong end of another highlight Wednesday night.
With his club down 82-74 to the Cavaliers, the big man unofficially made his play for an NFL contract as he brought down a driving LeBron James with ease towards the end of the third quarter. He proceeded to flaunt his Lithuanian swag by stepping over James before making a gesture to help him up, which the King was not feeling at all.
Despite being assessed a flagrant one for the tackle, it was totally worth it—James ended up bricking both free throws.
Perhaps another mirror selfie is on the way should the Cavs blow this game?
