You might have heard that Marshawn Lynch had planned on to wear gold Nike cleats in today’s NFC championship game. According to TMZ, Lynch’s baller spikes were values at over $1,000. Here’s a pic, courtesy of CBS Sports:
Well, the NFL also heard about Lynch’s plan. And not surprisingly, Goodell and his crew of no-fun henchman reportedly threatened to eject Lynch from the game if he decided to go ahead and wear them. Jay Glazer reported the situation on the Fox pre game show.
