The Oklahoma City Thunder fell back under .500 Thursday night, dropping their road game against the Houston Rockets by the score of 112-101.
Scotty Brooks’ squad was blitzed out of the gate, allowing a ridiculous 40 points in the first quarter alone. But on the plus side, new acquisition Dion Waiters wasn’t totally atrocious, scoring 16 points (on 6-16 shooting) and tallying two blocks. As you can see above, Dion might’ve learned some things from LeBron after all—chasing down James Harden in the third quarter to reject the weak layup attempt.
We’ll be sure to let you all know when he busts out his “pass me the ball, I’m open” shtick on Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook.
